Elizabeth ''Liz'' Yvonne Smith, 83, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Reba Seuis Green. She was also preceded in death by her son, Millard Julian Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda S. Thompson and her husband, Jesse of Littleton, Terri Smith and Angie Poythress, both of Roanoke Rapids; her sons, Bryan Spacek and his wife, Sandy of Chapel Hill and Mark Smith of Roanoke Rapids; her very special niece, Jill Miles of Littleton; her brother, Fred Leon West of Appomattox, VA; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Liz enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, working in her yard and loved her flowers and birdhouses.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Roanoke Rapids followed by a Memorial Service at 12:15 PM with Rev. Margaret Horrell officiating.
